In Crete, Syrah is full bodied with elegant tannins. Due to the hot climate. In addition with the well balanced acidity due to the mountainous vineyard and the prevailing northern winds. Ideal for wine connoisseurs looking to age their red wines in a cellar for 25 years. Decanting is suggested for 30 minutes.

Aroma

Complex and high intense aromas with elements of red fruit, chocolate, coffee, spices and vanilla.

VINIFICATION

Alcoholic fermentation and maceration in stainless steel vats. Total extraction time, 20 days. Full Malolactic fer mentation in barrels. Maturation in new oak and second hand French oak barrels for 8 months with the presence of fine lees. The wine matures in bottle for further 6-8 months in our wine cellar.
Mild organic vinification, unfinied and unfiltered.
