Melissinos rose was the first organic wine to be produced in Crete by Domaine Paterianakis. It is also our first wine since 1996.
Each variety is harvested and vivificated separately according to the Saignee method.

A complex nose with red fruit aromas and notes of spices.
Saignee Method Rose. Careful grape selection, destemming, transfer of grapes using gravity, without mechanical means, to stainless steel skin contact tank. Skin contact for
24 – 48 hours for the Kotsifali. Skin contact for 6-10 hours for the Syrah. Blending and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in stainless stell vat, at controlled temperature. Short aging on fine lees. Mild natural vinification, unfinied.
Bright salmon color with rose hues.
Velvet full bodied wine, vividly refreshing and rounded, with a dominant caramel flavor.
