Melissinos White

PRODUCT OF ORGANIC FARMING

A pioneering blend in Crete of two grape varieties, the indigenous Thrapsathiri and the famous French Sauvignon blanc.

Thrapsathiri is an important indigenous grape variety, falsely considered as a relative of Athiri. It tends to give wines with intense aromas high acidity and low alcohol levels.

Melissinos white is an exotic wine born from our owned mountainous, Organically cultivated vineyards. The vineyards are exposed to cooling winds from North East. In this wine we marry the 2 edges of Crete, the first and the last grape of the harvest.

Ideal for wine connoisseurs looking to age their white wines in a cellar.
