Emanuela and Niki are the heart and soul of the Paterianakis Estate. Both manage the company with the love and passion they inherited from their traditional winegrowing family.
Emanuela has been the estate’s chief oenologist since 2007 and is the winery’s director. After graduating with honors from the Department of Oenology and Beverage Technology at the University of Athens, she worked as a consultant oenologist in major Greek wineries, traveled abroad, explored different wine cultures until she decided that she should return and take over the production of the estate’s wines. Although she has been involved in organic winemaking for more than 15 years, she never stops exploring local varieties, highlighting the potential of her region in the best and most natural way possible.
Niki is responsible for the commercial representation of the estate. He is a chemical engineer, a graduate of the National Technical University of Athens, and in addition to the necessary work required by the winery’s laboratory, he is responsible for sales in local and international markets. An enthusiastic personality, she is involved in the estate’s visitor center, embraces wine tourism, and loves to take visitors on a journey through the wine tradition of her region.
