The Vidiano is a native Cretan variety which was revived through the efforts of pioneering winemakers and grape growers on the island.<\/p>

The variety is gaining a broad reputation, as it is already being grown and vinified throughout Crete by almost all winemakers. It is called the Cretan diva.<\/p>

The 50 % of the grapes remain for skin contact for a few hours at cold temperatures. Then the must is fermented in a temperature controlled stainless steel tank at 180C.
